Licca-chan Castle
Licca-chan doll has been loved by all generations since its debut in 1967. The Licca-chan Castle is a theme park filled with Licca-chan dreams, featuring a Licca-chan museum and an open factory where visitors can observe the doll's manufacturing process. Visitors can rent a gown and dress up as Licca-chan to tour the castle filled with Licca-chan and the romantic garden.
You can dress up like a princess here and feel like you're part of the castle. Super fun!
Gunma Flower Park＋
Renovated in October 2025 under the concept “Enjoy! Play with Flowers,” Gunma Flower Park Plus is a flower- and nature-themed attraction located in Maebashi City, Gunma Prefecture.
Colorful flowers are in bloom all year round, so it's beautiful no matter when you visit.
Tokyo Fukkatsu Daiseido (the Holy Resurrection Cathedral in Tokyo); Nicholai-do
A Byzantine-style cathedral with a 35m (115 ft)-tall domed roof. To commemorate the resurrection of Jesus Christ, the construction of the Holy Resurrection Cathedral began In 1891, designed by Josiah Conder who also designed Rokumeikan.
This cathedral is really magnificent. If you're nearby, it's worth stopping in for a look.
Tokyo Station: Marunouchi Station Building
The construction of Japan’s front gate, Tokyo Station, began in March, 1908 and it was opened in December, 1914. Kingo Tatsuno, the pioneer of modern architecture in Japan, designed it. The steel-framed, brick Marunouchi Station building was burned on the roof and interior in the 1945 air raid.
The Western-style architecture looks great from every angle. Don't forget to snap a photo while you're catching your train!
Nagasaki Confucius Shrine (Koshibyo)
The only full-scale mausoleum in Japan was built in 1893 in cooperation with the Qing government of China and overseas Chinese residents in Japan. Originally used as an elementary school for overseas Chinese living in Japan, the Confucius Mausoleum was later dedicated to the relics of Confucius. Confucius, the founder of Confucianism, is known as a Chinese philosopher and God of learning.
Even though Confucius was Chinese, the Japanese really respect him too. During the Nagasaki Lantern Festival, this place looks especially beautiful.
