Hondoji Temple
Hondoji Temple is one of the key temples of Nichiren Buddhism, one of the branches of Buddhism in Japan. It was founded in the third year of Kenji (1277), when a Lotus Hall (Hokkedo) was built within the estate of the Hiraga family, and opened by Nichiren himself.
There are so many types of hydrangeas here, it's almost overwhelming to take them all in.

There are some shops by the lake where you can sit, eat, and enjoy the view.
