Both the beef and pork were excellent, and the service was spot on. I'd definitely come back if I get the chance.

There's a small stall selling potato crepes. Even though the stall is tiny, the line was super long. They're delicious—definitely give them a try!

The animal specimens inside Ben's House are really unique.

Kinkaku-ji is famous both in Japan and abroad. Even from the tour bus in the parking lot, you can see that most of the visitors are from overseas. It's definitely a must-visit spot when you're in Kyoto.

Our travel agency scheduled the boat ride right after lunch, which wasn't a great idea. Many people in our group started dozing off less than 10 minutes after getting on the boat.

The nighttime light show projected onto the castle is absolutely stunning. You really have to stay until the very end to get your money's worth.

Even though you can't see the castle itself, you can still appreciate the impressive architecture from the moat and stone walls.
