Awa Odori Festival Hall

"Awa Odori" is one of the three most popular Bon dances in Japan. During four days from August 12th to the 15th every year, the dance features about 100 thousand dancers and attracts an audience of 1.2 million. The roots of this dance go back to about 400 years from now. The dance always reflects the times and is still loved by the people of Tokushima.

Kyoto Gyoen

The premises has the Kyoto Imperial Palace at the center in which Meiji Emperor lived until he moved to Edo, surrounded by the town where the homes of aristocrats lined up. In Meiji Period, the premises were turned into the Kyoto Gyoen Park. Kyoto Imperial Palace and Kyoto Sento Imperial Palace are still used by the imperial families.

Sagano Romantic train

The Sagano Kanko Railway's trolley trains operate on a revived part of the former San'in Main Line, which was closed down. Classical Art Deco style coaches coupled to a diesel locomotive travel 7.3 km one way from Torokko Saga Station, adjacent to JR Saga-Arashiyama Station, to Torokko Kameoka Station, taking about 25 minutes.

MIHO MUSEUM

It is an art museum standing in the green mountains of Shigaraki located in the southern part of Shiga prefecture. It houses about 3,000 pieces of ancient art from Egypt, Greece, Rome, West Asia, South Asia, and China, as well as Japanese art such as Buddhist art and tea ceremony art. About 250 of them are exhibited at all times.

Maruyama Park (Kyoto)

The oldest park in Kyoto, built on land once owned by temples and shrines. It is located across the Shijo Ohashi Bridge from Kawaramachi and straight down the Gion shopping street on Shijo Dori Street. From the Shijo Ohashi Bridge, pass the Keihan Gion-Shijo Station and continue along the shopping street, and you will see Yasaka Shrine in front of you.
