There are about 70 or 80 restaurants packed into this short street, but some of the facilities and decor are a bit old. The ventilation isn't great, and the hygiene could be a concern. 😓

Takeshita Street in Harajuku is super lively.
Tons of trendy shops for young people, cute desserts, and quirky little items.
Perfect for taking photos, posting on social media, and just wandering around.
It does get really crowded, but if you’re into fashion trends and fun, wacky food, you’ll probably love it. -

This is a small shopping center in a rural area. There aren't many trendy things to buy, and honestly, there's not much worth shopping for. Plus, it's almost empty most of the time.
