Photographing the Lit Areas Around Nikko Station
After returning to Nikko’s city proper, I checked in at “Nikko Station Hotel Classic,” right in front of JR Nikko Station.

My room. It was clean and chic, like a classy business hotel.
I took a short break before going out to photograph the nearby scenery.

I also took photos of the city right after the sun set.

The exterior of Nikko Station Hotel Classic, where I was staying, was lit up too.

Staying at “Nikko Station Hotel Classic”
For the first night of my trip around Nikko I stayed at Nikko Station Hotel Classic.
There are 3 restaurants inside the hotel. I had dinner this night at the a-la-carte restaurant “Terrace.”

I ordered the “Nikko Gozen,” as it seemed fitting for a trip to Nikko. (2,160 yen)

Considering the location, facility, and meal contents, it was a great deal.
There are bathrooms inside each hotel room, but there is also a large public bath with natural hot spring water, so I’d recommend staying here if you’re a fan of onsen. (Baths are also available on day trips)
