Located just a 3-minute walk from JR Ryogoku Station, near the Ryogoku Kokugikan Sumo Hall, this place opened in 1985 as a Western-style izakaya (Japanese pub). In 1995, it began serving "Echigo Beer," Japan's first craft beer, and has since continually increased its number of taps. Now, with 100 taps, it offers a wide selection of craft beers from all over Japan.

With a dedicated cellarman who is well-versed in beer, over 70 types of craft beer are meticulously managed for gas pressure, temperature, glassware, and pouring technique to ensure each is served in its best condition. This commitment to providing uniquely individual beers in their optimal state is what has earned it the title of "sacred ground for craft beer."

The pub also offers numerous original beers brewed at the nearby "Ryogoku Beer Research Institute RYOGOKU LAB & BREWING," allowing patrons to enjoy its signature flavors.

Furthermore, the menu includes items like "beef stewed in beer" and "spare ribs marinated in stout," where beer is used in cooking to perfectly complement the beverage. Special deals like the "King Set," which includes food with certain drinks for a limited time, are also available, capturing the hearts of many fans with its array of attractions beyond just beer.
