The most famous thing here is the Jindaiji soba noodles. They’re handmade right on site and smell amazing!

The environment is peaceful and quiet, perfect for a stroll. Be sure to try the famous local soba noodles while you're here.

This temple and the surrounding area are really beautiful. There are small shops, ponds, and an incredible soba noodle restaurant. After having lunch there, we spent the afternoon enjoying the scenery. Compared to similar shrines we've visited in and around Tokyo, this one was much less crowded, which we really liked.
