Yomiuriland, a historic amusement park representing Tokyo, is also famous as a cherry blossom viewing spot with cherry trees in full bloom. During the cherry blossom season, the park is filled with approximately 1,000 cherry trees, including Somei-Yoshino, yamazakura (wild cherry), and shidare-zakura (weeping cherry).
