This is a yakitori specialty izakaya pub under the tracks at Koenji Station.
This is a popular yakitori (grilled chicken skewer) specialty restaurant. There are many outdoor seats for a oen feel. The skewer are made with fresh chicken and are reasonably priced starting at 140 yen and up. The skewers are flavored with salt from Ishigaki Island and if you are lucky, you may be able to sample some rare cuts of chicken. There are over 100 types of drinks on the menu including Japanese sake, Pum wine, Awamori liquor, Shochu. Also, located nearby is the second branch “Bar Matatabi”.
