Ginza Café Paulista

Located along Chuo Street in Ginza 8-chome, near Shimbashi, this coffee shop was established in 1911, Meiji 44. With a history spanning over 110 years, it is an iconic establishment integral to the narrative of Japan's café culture.

The founder, also known as the father of Brazilian immigrants, was honored for his contributions to immigration policies and opened the café with the support of the São Paulo state government in Brazil. It has been frequented by renowned literary figures such as Ryunosuke Akutagawa, Akiko Yosano, and Kotaro Takamura, as well as cultural icons like Albert Einstein and John Lennon and his wife.

The signature "Forest Coffee" uses fully ripened beans cultivated without pesticides or chemical fertilizers. The beans are directly sourced from contract farms in Brazil and Ethiopia, ensuring the coffee's safety and quality.
