50-year-old “Hukadaso”, the apartment/storage was facing a demolition, then, it was renovated into a multi facility “fukadaso.” The sentimental exterior with the rusty corrugated wall houses the nostalgic “fukadaso CAFE” on the 1st floor.

The interior, adorned with antiques and hand-made furniture by the owner, is warm and cozy. With the seats widely distanced, you can relax without the noise from neighboring customers. With the iron beams painted white and exposed, tables and sofas individually different, the stylish space is often used for movie locations and magazine photo shootings.

The menu centers around sweets and drinks. The owner’s home-made cheesecake is recommended. With the generous quality cream cheese, just-right sweetness and rich moist flavor, it’s a must-try. There are pancakes, scones, banana cakes and other elegant sweets. Enjoy them with their proud coffee brewed with the beans from the nearby Arise Coffee Roasters.

“fukadaso” houses a general store, shoe store, natural wine shop, etc., great for a visit after coffee.

    用舊倉庫改建的咖啡館相當具有創意,空間也相當寬敞,坐在裡面喝一杯咖啡是很享受的。
