Museum that traces back the great work of Eiji Tsuburaya, called “God of Special Effects,” who directed the hit shows such as Godzilla and Ultraman. It was opened in 2019 in Sukagawa City, the birthplace of Tsuburaya.

See Tsuburaya Eiji Chronicles Box that follows his 68-year footprints through panels and videos, interview and special effect film-making videos, the precise replica of the first-version Godzilla suit, a miniature Toho Productions’ special effect studio, and other fun displays will entertain not only children but also adults who grew up with Tsuburaya’s work.

Since Eiji Tsuburaya regularly talked to children the importance of learning, a library related to filming, biology, mechanics, etc was added so visiting children can have fun while learning.
