Lumine the Yoshimoto is on the 7th floor of a commercial building, Shinjuku Lumine 2, right by JR Shinjuku Station’s south exit. Yoshimoto Kogyo’s permanent theater with 458 seats - the largest capacity in eastern Japan.
Champions and finalists from “M-1 Grand Prix” and “R-1 Grand Prix” as well as many special artists familiar in TV shows come on stage to perform 2 to 3 comedies each day. Saturdays, Sundays and holidays feature favored rookies and veterans to make everyone young and old laugh.
Right by Shinjuku Station and performing throughout the year, fun is available anytime. The adjoining entertainment shop offers a variety of goods likened to artists. You can enter there without a theater ticket, convenient to look for souvenirs.
