This specialty kiln-baked sweets shop is based on the concept of 'chilled yet warm, melt-in-your-mouth sweets' that can only be enjoyed freshly made. The signature sweet is the 'Chasen no Matcha Tamatebako Sweets', served in a paulownia box. When opened, steam rises, reminiscent of the gift Urashima Taro received from Princess Otohime! Inside, there's a variety of matcha sweets, inspired by the Hassun course of Kyoto kaiseki cuisine. This includes matcha jelly, matcha tiramisu, a mini parfait of matcha and kinako (roasted soybean flour), and matcha truffles. The matcha used is from Maruyoshi Yoshida Meien's Uji tea, currently in its 16th generation, continuing the tradition of hand-rolled gyokuro tea. The fragrance is superb, and the refined bitterness superbly enhances the sweetness.

Other delights include 'Matcha Tiramisu' with a perfect blend of mascarpone and matcha, 'Matcha Choux Ice' with matcha ice cream sandwiched in freshly baked choux pastry, and 'Kyoto Tsugano-o Mountain Matcha Parfait', offering a variety of textures and flavors. Besides sweets, the shop also offers a variety of food pizzas, popular at lunchtime.
