This beer brewery opened in 1923 has the longest history in the Tohoku Region. You can tour around how their major product “Kirin Ichiban draft beer” is made, and have a taste at the end.
The 80-minute tour begins with a theater to show the lively video of Kirin Ichiban’s history and the creator’s hope. In the brewery, you will get to have a taste of the beer ingredient, malt, and smell hops, followed by a tour on the process of making wort from malt and packaging. You will have a rare experience of comparing the taste of the Ichiban Shibori (first wort) and the second wort. As a conclusion, the “brewery draft meister” who has mastered the knowhow of delicious craft beer offers you the first wort.
