Located in Dainohara Forest Park in Sendai, this science museum offers interactive, hands-on exhibits that make learning science enjoyable and engaging.

In April 2024, the permanent exhibition space on the 4th floor reopened after renovations, featuring three main areas: Exploring Science, Nature of Miyagi & Sendai, and Science in Everyday Life.
In the Nature of Miyagi & Sendai area, visitors can explore "Memories of the Earth," showcasing impressive skeletal and reconstructed specimens of animals once native to the region, and "Gateway to Nature," featuring realistic dioramas depicting mountains, hills, and coastal landscapes of Miyagi.
The Exploring Science area provides numerous hands-on displays to help visitors grasp fundamental scientific concepts like length, weight, and time through exhibits such as "Science Units" and a real specimen-based periodic table of elements. The popular "Challenge Lab" offers daily workshops featuring fun experiments and craft activities, encouraging everyone to experience the wonders of science firsthand.
