Onyado Yui no Sho

A soothing hot spring retreat to enjoy natural onsen and Hida cuisine.

Last update :

A hot spring ryokan at the entrance to the UNESCO World Heritage village of Shirakawa-go. Styled after the region’s gassho-zukuri architecture, it offers a luxurious stay with a sense of Shirakawa-go’s history and charm.

The property’s natural hot springs include an indoor bath, an open-air bath, and a large bathhouse with a sauna, plus two private baths. Both the cypress bath “Tenku no Yu” and the ceramic bath “Seiun no Yu” are open-air baths, letting you enjoy Shirakawa-go’s scenery in a private setting. Best of all, the private baths are free and open 24 hours.

Dinner features a Japanese kaiseki course with local specialties, including Hida beef, mountain delicacies, and seafood. In addition to a 1-night, 2-meal plan with dinner and a Japanese set breakfast, breakfast-only and room-only stays are also available. Choose from three room types that blend Japanese style with modern comfort.

Another highlight is the range of complimentary services, including welcome drinks of amazake and roasted green tea, post-bath ice pops, and the signature late-night “Yonaki Soba.”
