Shiroyama Tenshukaku / Tenbodai Souvenir Shop / Tenbodai Cafe

From the observation deck, you can see a nostalgic Japanese landscape spread out below, with thatched gassho-style houses amidst forests and rice fields. Enjoy varying sceneries with each season, such as golden rice fields in autumn and snowy landscapes in winter. On clear days, the majestic Haku-san mountain range is also visible.

At the cafe, indulge in light meals featuring A5 Hida beef and Yumisayu pork in burgers, savory miso-dressed gohei-mochi, and unique rice flour churros shaped like the characters "合" and "郷," symbolizing Shirakawa-go. The menu prioritizes local ingredients. Except in bad weather, meals can be enjoyed on the open terrace.
