Tenkara

Tenkara, a yakiniku restaurant, is just a 5-minute drive from the Shirakawa-go Gassho-style village, a World Heritage site. They offer the finest A4 and A5 grade Hida beef at affordable prices, sourced from established butchers.

Hida beef is known for its abundant marbling, tender texture, and sweet, rich fat. At Tenkara, they offer a variety of cuts like the premium sirloin and rib-loin for steaks, and the flavorful and melt-in-your-mouth kalbi, allowing guests to enjoy the differences in taste and texture of each cut. Additionally, they have an extensive set menu paired with rice and miso soup. The sirloin teishoku and supreme rib-loin teishoku, where diners grill the meat themselves, feature Hida beef hitsumabushi rice, making for a hearty meal. They also offer affordable options like roast beef donburi and hamburger steak teishoku.

The restaurant features tatami mat seating in sunken kotatsu style and tables that can accommodate up to six people. The counter seats, where guests can enjoy conversations with the chef, are also recommended. Reservations are accepted only for dinner, and it's important to note that reservations may not be possible during holidays and peak seasons.
