This year marks the 24th occasion of the winter tradition at Yebisu Garden Place. The world's largest "Baccarat Chandelier" by the prestigious crystal brand Baccarat, founded in the Baccarat village in the Lorraine region of France in 1764, is lit every day in the center square during the event.
The "Baccarat Chandelier", boasting a height of about 5 meters and a width of about 3 meters, utilizes around 8,500 crystal parts and 250 lights. Its intricate and delicate craftsmanship requires the skills of 13 of France's finest artisans (M.O.F) and took a staggering 15,000 hours to construct. The luxurious glow, a culmination of the crystal brand's techniques and traditions adored by royalty and aristocrats worldwide, is truly breathtaking.
Attention is also drawn to the showcase made from recyclable aluminum. While maintaining the premium feel of the aluminum, its design brilliantly accentuates the beauty of the "Baccarat Chandelier". Be sure to check out various events held throughout the duration, including the lighting ceremony.
