Meguro Sky Garden

A unique circular rooftop garden spanning 400 meters, developed as a public park atop the Ohashi Junction of the Tokyo Metropolitan Expressway.

The looped design of the garden takes advantage of the junction’s structure, with elevation differences ranging from 11 to 35 meters above ground. It is accessible via ground-level entrances, pedestrian bridges, and elevators. The garden is also directly connected by a deck to the 9th floor of the adjacent "Cross Air Tower," a high-rise building housing the Meguro City Ohashi Library and a supermarket. The deck offers the garden’s highest vantage point, where Mount Fuji can be seen on clear days.

The park features diverse themed areas such as the "Four Seasons Garden," showcasing vibrant seasonal flowers, the bamboo grove-inspired "Hospitality Garden," and the "Relaxation Plaza," which includes a Japanese garden and a grassy lawn. These areas are interconnected by winding paths, creating a serene atmosphere that feels far removed from the bustling city below.
With covered benches and tables scattered throughout, visitors can bring a packed lunch and enjoy a casual picnic. The garden transforms at night with soft lighting, making an evening stroll a magical experience.
