Four SNOW DOMES all alight in magical display.
The Winter Illumination at Tokyo Dome City is a hit, annual winter event held in this city-bound amusement complex, complete with amusement park, hotels, and more. Celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2024, this year brought the welcome of the new SNOW DOME theme and four distinct SNOW DOME SPOTS. Expect snow-inspired, sparkling white illuminations in full adornment and a sense of magic to warm the heart.
A major draw this year is the Wonder Snow Tree at Crystal Avenue's Lawn Plaza. This 15-meter-tall tree shines with approximately 250,000 LED lights in a band of colors, plus a special light and bubble display every 15 minutes that mimics the look and feel of a snow globe dreamscape.
For even more snow dome drama to love, there’s also the Snowflake Dome on the 1st floor of LaQua Garden, where you can take in the illuminations from inside. Use the tablet set inside to create your own glowing scene of snowflake patterns and snap a photo you won’t soon forget. Other spots to note include the disco-ball snow dome with dynamic light changes and plenty of pizazz in interactive displays. The event runs from late November 2024 to the end of February 2025, for your next night of magic this winter.
