Last update :

Immerse yourself in Miyajima's tradition and history at this interactive tourist facility. On the first floor, you can easily explore traditional Miyajima crafts like wooden spatulas, lathe crafts, Miyajima-carved trays, and Miyajima clay bells, all available for viewing and purchase.

On the second floor, try the "Momiji Manju Hand-Baking Experience," where you can bake, package, and take home these treats under the guidance of a craftsman, for 880 yen (tax included) per person.

The third floor offers "Spatula Making Experience" and "Miyajima Carving Experience." In the spatula workshop, after learning about the history of these utensils, you can press stamps of Miyajima motifs like torii gates, maple leaves, and deer onto your spatula, creating your own unique piece for 550 yen (tax included) per person.

The "Miyajima Carving Experience" allows you to carve a maple leaf design on a 15cm round tray and color it to your liking. The finished tray, which can be taken home, makes for a perfect souvenir and costs 2,200 yen (tax included) per person.
