Goten-yama is named for its location behind the "Kambara Goten," which was built by Tokugawa Ieyasu. It's possible to enjoy cherry blossom viewing from late March to early April, making it one of the most famous spots for cherry blossoms in Shizuoka City.

About 600 Somei Yoshino and Oshima cherry trees spread across the mountain bloom, offering a stunning view where the entire mountain is dyed in shades of cherry blossoms when viewed from Yasaka Shrine's precincts.

A walking trail leading to the mountain summit is well-maintained, making it possible to enjoy trekking. If planning to trek, it's recommended to wear comfortable shoes.

The "Kambara Goten-yama Cherry Blossom Festival," where visitors can enjoy night illuminations and stalls from local shops, is held annually from late March to early April when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, attracting many viewers. *Please confirm the event schedule and other details by contacting the organizers.
