Mt. Fuji Yume no Ohashi Bridge

This bridge spans National Route 139 in Tadehara, Fuji City, Shizuoka Prefecture. From the bridge, you can take in a full view of Mt. Fuji with no buildings, power lines, or other obstructions. In recent years, it has become a popular viewpoint. The staircase section in particular creates a composition that looks as if it leads all the way to Mt. Fuji, making it a favorite photo spot and drawing many international visitors.

There are two recommended photo spots: the south side of the staircase and the sidewalk on the bridge. From the south side of the staircase, you can take photos that look as if you are climbing steps leading to Mt. Fuji, while from the sidewalk on the bridge, you can capture a dramatic view of Mt. Fuji spreading out right in front of you.

There is parking for 17 cars under the bridge, and visiting by rental bicycle is also popular. Bicycles can be rented at the Shin-Fuji Station Tourist Information Center inside Shin-Fuji Station. Since Mt. Fuji can be seen from many places throughout Fuji City, it is also fun to explore by bike while looking for your own favorite viewpoint.
