Shonan Enoshima Oryori Ryokan Ebisuya

With a history of over 350 years, this historic ryokan has hosted notable figures such as Hirobumi Ito and literary figures. It continues to be beloved by tourists for its unchanged hospitality.

The ryokan offers a variety of rooms, including standard 8-10 tatami mat rooms, compact 6 tatami mat rooms, rooms with views of Katase Higashihama Beach, and Western-style rooms with open terraces. The highlight is the top-floor ocean-view Japanese-style rooms, offering stunning views of Enoshima Benten Bridge and the sea. In summer, guests can enjoy the fireworks festival from the comfort of their rooms.

Dinner features a fresh seafood kaiseki, showcasing seasonal fish with beautifully presented dishes. The breakfast set, centered around dried horse mackerel, also includes Ebisuya's original tsukudani (simmered seaweed) and aotori kurage (blue seaweed jellyfish).

The ryokan houses a mini-museum displaying ukiyo-e and calligraphy by Hirobumi Ito, a small sea cave, and a statue of Benten-sama. Its location on the approach to Enoshima Shrine makes it an ideal base for exploring the area and enjoying a luxurious stay.
