This dining spot stands out for its wooden building, reminiscent of a traditional fishing net hut. Its seafood is made up of carefully selected fresh catches sourced directly from fishermen across Japan. Known for its delicious food, it attracts a wide range of visitors, from locals to tourists.

The restaurant’s signature dish since opening is the “Makanai Don,” topped with namero made by finely chopping fillets of 3 to 4 kinds of fish over rice and finished with a secret sesame sauce. Break apart the oversized sheet of grilled nori covering the bowl, or wrap it by hand-roll style, and enjoy this richly flavorful dish.

Breakfast is also served from 8:00am to 10:30am.

A top recommendation is the “Fisherman’s Soup Set Meal,” centered around fisherman’s soup made by simmering the bones and heads of several kinds of fish for 3 to 4 hours. Its rich, concentrated umami offers a one-of-a-kind flavor you can only enjoy here. Also recommended is the “Kinmedai Simmered Broth Tamago Kake Gohan,” served with freshly shaved bonito flakes prepared right in front of you with each order.
