In Nikko, I made a special point of visiting Nikko Futarasan Shrine! There was a very peaceful atmosphere within the shrine grounds. After entering the approach, the surrounding trees and old buildings naturally made me slow down. Compared with the bustling tourist attractions, it felt more solemn.
What attracted me most were the distinctive Nikko-style shrine buildings and ancient trees. As I walked around, every corner felt full of history. I wasn’t in a rush to take photos and instead explored slowly and took everything in, which actually helped me appreciate the shrine’s atmosphere even more.
