I'm staying in Kobe for two nights and want to see the night view. How should I go about it from Kobe? I'll be there around November 29. I'd like to know how long it takes one way, and since we're staying in Sannomiya, which station should we take the bus from and how do we get up to Rokko? Also, someone in my group has trouble walking, so I'd appreciate a night view route that minimizes walking.

The observation deck on the mountain is the best spot to see Kobe's night view. Since it's pretty high up, make sure to bring extra clothes to stay warm.

One of Japan's top three night views. The elevation isn't that high, but it gets pretty windy and chilly at night.

I've checked out both Mt. Rokko and Mt. Maya for night views, and honestly, the view from Mt. Maya is much wider—you can see Osaka, Wakayama, Shikoku, and more. Seeing Kobe's beautiful nightscape made the trip totally worth it.
