Universal Studios Japan is a favorite for both kids and adults! I visited in 2013 and 2014, and then went back in 2018 when the new Harry Potter area opened. A lot of people come here just for Harry Potter! I wasn’t even a big fan before, but after riding the Forbidden Journey, I totally fell in love with the wizarding world. I even rewatched all the movies when I got home. I’m really impressed by the attention to detail and professionalism in the park’s design—it really draws you in! ❤️ Highly recommended. 👍

If you're going to a theme park in Japan, you really have to get used to waiting in line. Especially in the summer, you'll end up sweating a lot while waiting. If you don't have patience, I wouldn't recommend coming.

Even on a rainy day, it didn't take away from the fun at all.

I went in the summer and it was seriously hot! You get a lot of sun while waiting in line—I almost got heatstroke!

We bought the express VIP pass and got to enjoy several rides as soon as we entered the park. Harry Potter, Flying Dinosaur, Jurassic Park—we barely had to wait at all. Totally worth it for saving time!

A lot of the rides and scenes are ones I've seen in movies before, so it felt extra special to experience them in person.

You have to stay until the very end for the nighttime parade! The themes change every time I visit, which makes it even more fun.
