    Taking the ferry was a fun experience! Even though the ride is only about 15 minutes, you can enjoy the beautiful ocean views from the deck.

    Even though it's called Sakurajima, it's not really an island. The radishes grown here are totally different from the ones you see in regular markets—they're short and super big, apparently because of the volcanic soil. The local oranges are also small but really sweet and delicious.
