I drove around Yamanashi for three days and two nights four years ago. I really miss it!

I wonder if I'll get the chance to see Mt. Fuji's majestic view again next year 👀

It was pretty rare to catch Mt. Fuji showing up when the weather was so unstable. I quickly snapped a photo while I had the chance.

Mt. Fuji, cherry blossoms, and hot springs are truly the symbols of Japan.

The Mt. Fuji climbing route is super popular. Even at the 5th Station, I saw lots of different groups, all geared up and ready to go.

As a precious World Heritage Site, you really have to climb it at least once!

There's a lot of trash on the mountain, probably left by tourists. It's a good thing it's only open for two months a year—if it were open all year, they might as well call it 'Trash Mountain.'

Mt. Fuji is truly impressive, especially in winter when the peak is covered in snow. That's when it's at its most beautiful.

We drove up to the 5th station parking lot and started climbing. The trail is well maintained and easy to walk. We stayed overnight at a mountain hut on the 8th station, then woke up early to reach the 3,776-meter summit for sunrise. It was a wonderful and rare experience.
