This is the gathering place of the gods in Japanese mythology and a famous shrine for those seeking love and marriage. There are also lots of rabbit statues around the grounds, which adds a cute touch to the sacred and solemn atmosphere.

The shrine's architecture is really beautiful, especially the huge torii gate and the massive sacred rope. It's also said to be the most effective place to pray for good relationships.

There are lots of fascinating Japanese myths and legends here. In October, all the gods in Japan are said to gather here for a meeting. If you collect sand from Inasa Beach nearby and place it behind the main hall, it's believed to bring happiness.
