It was super hot, and the walk from the parking lot was all uphill. When we got to Osaka Castle, everyone rushed under the ginkgo trees to hide from the sun. I was all sweaty and sticky—really uncomfortable. 😣

The ticket price is reasonable. The view from the top of the castle keep is beautiful, and the building itself looks great! There's also a historical exhibition inside.

You can enjoy the view from the top floor, and each level has a different kind of historical exhibit!

The official name is Osaka Castle Park, and it really is just that—a park. The current Osaka Castle tower was rebuilt with donations from local citizens. Inside, there's accessible space and elevators, so it feels more like a history and culture museum.

These are Japan's three most famous castles. Along with Nagoya Castle and Himeji Castle, they're all really well-known. I've visited all three, and each one has its own unique historical significance.

I visited during cherry blossom season. The moat around Osaka Castle Park is lined with cherry trees, and when they're in full bloom, it's really spectacular and super crowded. It's quite a walk from the parking lot up to the main tower.

This isn't the original Osaka Castle keep—it was rebuilt later and is much smaller in scale. The elevator inside feels out of place and takes away from the authentic atmosphere.
