The Japanese call Lake Biwa the 'Mother Lake.' It's a place you have to visit at least once in your life. There's a park that's 4.8 kilometers long around it. Having coffee and taking a walk here is really relaxing.

Lake Biwa is the largest lake in Japan. You really need to take a boat to see the whole thing.

You can ride a bike at Otsu Lakeside Park, relax at a lakeside café, or take a sightseeing boat around the lake to enjoy the beautiful scenery.
