This ropeway is awesome! When you reach the final Nishi-Hotakaguchi Station, you get to enjoy an absolutely stunning panoramic view. Totally worth it!

I caught the autumn leaves season just in time. As you move from the first to the second ropeway, the scenery along the way is stunning—it's like a moving observation deck.

I was really lucky! The weather was great when I visited, and the view of Mt. Yarigatake and the Northern Alps was super clear.

This is the only double-decker ropeway in Japan! You take two ropeways to reach the summit at Nishi-Hotakaguchi Station and get to enjoy amazing views of the entire Northern Alps.
