This time, while taking a cruise around Lake Chuzenji, we happened to pass the Italian Embassy Villa Memorial Park, a place with a distinctive international atmosphere. Looking from a distance across the lake, we could see the villa tucked away amid the greenery along the shore. Together with the surrounding mountains and shimmering lake, the whole scene was very beautiful. This was once the Italian ambassador's summer villa.
