Dogo Onsen Annex Asuka-no-Yu was designed around the concept of the Asuka period. Both the architecture and interior are distinctive, and you can also see local artwork from Ehime. Compared with the historic Dogo Onsen Main Building, Asuka-no-Yu is newer and more comfortable, with a more modern atmosphere. Each has its own unique character.

The main building didn't really catch our interest, so we ended up trying the annex bathhouse. It's a bit pricier, but once inside, we found the space comfortable, with fewer guests and even a semi-open-air hot spring area. The whole environment was super relaxing. Highly recommended!

It's a bit pricier than the main building, but everything is super clean and the facilities are new. The overall environment is pretty nice.
