I really love Genshichi Roten no Yu! I visited during the autumn leaves season, and the sulfur hot spring flows directly from the source. The spring water comes straight from the mountain top—so nice!

I really love Japanese hot springs, especially this one! No matter how many times I come, I never get tired of it! 🤣

Genshichi Roten no Yu—I really like the hot springs here. The large open-air bath is filled with milky white sulfur water, and the little white mineral flowers are blooming. I had a super relaxing soak. It was fantastic.

This hot spring in the Zao Onsen area of Yamagata is my absolute favorite ♨️. There's both indoor and outdoor baths—highly recommended! You really have to come and experience these hot springs for yourself ♨️👍
