BIJUU’s “Kyo Baum” is a distinctive Kyoto souvenir. It looks elegant and is perfect as a souvenir from Kyoto. This time I tried the matcha flavor, and from the first bite, I could smell the subtle, pleasant aroma of matcha.

What I liked most was the matcha on the innermost and outermost layers. The aroma was very noticeable, and it had a rich matcha flavor. Paired with the Baumkuchen inside, it was soft and had a layered texture.

The cake is coated with rich matcha on the outside, while the inside is made with Kyoto Uji matcha and soy milk, creating beautiful alternating green and white rings. The texture is moist, delicate, soft, and fluffy. Each bite has a rich tea aroma and a subtle milky fragrance. It's moderately sweet without being overly rich, with plenty of depth. The elegant, refined packaging is full of Kyoto character, making it perfect as a gift or for enjoying yourself.
