I haven't tried these yet because I just haven't felt like buying them, but everyone on the forum says they're good, so I'll definitely try them the next time I go to Japan〜
They seem like chocolate with a really cool shape〜
I saw that my friend bought these on a trip to Japan, and I even asked him if he could save a pack for me to try. But neither of us could find time to meet up, so his older sister ate them lol
Why does it feel like I've already lost touch with more than half of my friends when I only started working not long ago?
So sad?
Everyone, I just found out Sushiro has these!
But they're 140〜 If you're interested, you can go try them

The cute little bamboo shoot shape makes this a household-name snack in Japan. Whenever I traveled to Japan before, I always bought the mushroom-shaped chocolate cookies, but this time I wanted to try something different, so I bought the bamboo shoot-shaped ones to try.
After opening the package and tasting them, I found that the cookie base is indeed a little different from the mushroom cookies. It has a slightly lighter texture, and the chocolate coating is also very smooth and tasty. However, if I had to choose between these two classics, I would still prefer the original mushroom cookies. I find the texture of that crunchy cookie stem more appealing.

I like buying the family-size pack at the supermarket, so I can enjoy both the cute mushroom and bamboo shoot shapes at once. The individual packs are also very convenient. You can give each friend a pack to share, or open a small pack when you're craving a snack. It's just the right amount, so you don't have to worry about eating too much at once. It's perfect for watching shows or afternoon tea!

Meiji Takenoko no Sato strawberry-flavored cookies are a cute snack with a distinctly Japanese feel. The crispy cookies are paired with sweet strawberry chocolate, giving them a rich strawberry aroma and sweetness that make them perfect for afternoon tea or as a snack while watching shows. Overall, they're crispy with a noticeable strawberry flavor and are super delicious 😋

Every time I go to a supermarket in Japan, I can almost never resist tossing this into my basket. It looks like a little bamboo shoot, but it’s packed with chocolate temptation!
The outside is crispy and crunchy cookie, paired with rich chocolate. With one bite, the buttery cookie aroma and sweet chocolate come together perfectly, making it hard to stop eating.
Japanese snacks really know how to take cuteness to the next level. Even cookies can be shaped into adorable little bamboo shoots.
You don’t have to wait for a trip. Just opening a pack gives you that little happiness of feeling like you’re back browsing a supermarket in Japan.
I buy it every time I visit Japan. It’s great as a gift or just for yourself! -

When you see bamboo shoot-shaped cookies at a convenience store in Japan, it’s really hard not to buy them. The classic combo of cookies and chocolate has a timeless appeal, and it’s easy to see why they’ve been a favorite for so long.

Both kinds of cookies are pretty good. Most people usually go for the bamboo shoot-shaped one first since the shape is cute and fun, and it’s definitely more popular.

Compared to the mushroom-shaped one, I personally like Takenoko no Sato more. The cookie is flakier, and the chocolate sweetness is smoother too 🥰
