Lunch at the Famous Japanese Restaurant “Ginza Toyoda” in Ginza
The oft-visited Japanese restaurant “Ginza Toyoda” featured in Michelin Guide is located on Namiki-dori in Tokyo’s Ginza. This time I stopped here for lunch.

While running an IT consulting firm, I spend my lunch breaks exploring the Ginza area near my office in search of great places to eat. Over the past few years, I’ve covered everything from upscale five-star restaurants to traditional family-run eateries, all while enjoying Ginza’s ever-changing scenery.
Hokkaido. It’s a treasure trove of seafood! Crab, squid, salmon, sushi, seafood rice bowls—nothing elsewhere compares to Hokkaido.
Kyoto, Japan’s former capital. It reveals a different side with each season, and simply walking through the city is a remarkable experience.
Be sure to stop by one of the great restaurants in Ginza, one of the world’s leading culinary districts. Don’t worry if a restaurant isn’t listed in your guidebook. Try one that locals actually visit!
