Obereberi Onsen Suikoen
A day-use hot spring facility boasting a variety of baths, including a free-flowing indoor bath, an open-air bath with a sense of freedom, a germanium far-infrared sauna, and a jet bath with gentle water pressure for a soothing massage effect. The name Suikoen ("Water Light Garden") is said to have originated from the way the local spring water sparkled brilliantly.
This time, I specifically looked for a local public bathhouse that only locals go to.
Tokachigawa Onsen's moor hot spring has a yellow-brown color, also called 'black water.' With the temperature dropping below 5°C tonight, it felt amazing. After soaking, my skin felt super smooth and refreshed. The hot spring water is spacious, and there's an open-air bath, an electric bath, pools with different temperatures, and even a cold water pool. You can even watch TV from the outdoor bath! All of this for just JPY 500—such a great deal for a high-quality bathhouse. Loved it! 👏
After my bath, I relaxed on the tatami mats for about an hour. It was so relaxing~
