Takiyama Park
This park is known as the location of Takiyama Castle, a fort owned by the Hojo clan, who were prominent during the Warring States Period (1467-1568).
Besides cherry blossoms, the azaleas here are beautiful too! The only downside is the transportation—it's a bit inconvenient since you have to take a bus to get there.
[Closed Down]Emblem Hostel Nishiarai
Tokyo’s largest hostel, “Emblem Hostel Nishiarai,” opened in December of 2015. It is an incredibly comfortable place to stay despite its surprisingly cheap cost, around 2000 yen per night (tax included), and they even offer free breakfast for guests. There is an AEON store right in front of the hostel. It has everything you could need for day-to-day living in its supermarket, 100-yen store, and more.
