Fukuoka Art Museum
This art museum stands within Ohori Park in central Fukuoka City and houses Approx. 16,000 works in its collection. Its wide-ranging collection spans works by 20th-century artists such as Miró, Dalí, and Warhol, modern Western-style paintings by artists from Kyushu, as well as tea ceremony utensils and Buddhist art, including Important Cultural Properties. Exhibitions include the permanent collection, along with special exhibitions, themed exhibitions, and events held throughout the year.
