Compared to Nagoya Castle, Okazaki Castle feels more like a cozy, neighborhood-style little castle. It’s not insanely crowded, so it’s really pleasant to walk around.

The most impressive thing about the Snow Corridor is the towering snow walls on both sides, reaching up to 20 meters high. These are the natural result of heavy winter snowfall. Walking along these spectacular walls, you really feel the awe of being surrounded by massive snow and ice.

Looking down from the bridge, you get an amazing view of the gorge. You're surrounded by lush green trees and wide open nature. It's especially stunning in the fall, when the leaves change color—the whole valley is wrapped in golden and fiery red foliage. The scenery is just so beautiful.

I took a sightseeing boat on the lake and noticed a lot of trash floating around. The water didn't seem very clean either.
