Every year, the Mino Washi Akari Art Exhibition is held in the nationally designated Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings, Udatsu no Agaru Machinami, in the heart of the city, where glowing objects made from Mino washi are displayed. Seisonkaku

The residence was built in 1863 by the 13th lord of Kaga, Maeda Nariyasu, for his mother, Takako (Shinryuin), the wife of the 12th lord, Narinaga. It was located in the direction of Tatsumi (southeast) from Kanazawa Castle, and it was initially called Tatsumigoden Palace, as the Takatsuka family in Kyoto, Takako's parents' house, was called Tatsumi-den Palace. Every detail of the building is lavishly decorated with the craftsmanship of the Kaga clan.

Shiwahiko Shrine, Shiogama Shrine

Shiogama Shrine is the most prestigious shrine in Mutsu Province, located on a hill overlooking Shiogama Bay. Although the date of its foundation is unknown, it is known that the shrine had been worshiped since before the Nara period (710-794) based on descriptions in early Heian period (794-1185) documents.

Rainbow Bridge

“Rainbow Bridge,” an approximately 800-meter-long suspension bridge, is an iconic part of Tokyo architecture that connects Odaiba and Shibaura. At night the bridge is beautifully illuminated, and many people visit it to take pictures of one of Tokyo’s most well-known night views. The bridge has a dual structure: the upper section functions as an Metropolitan expressway, while the lower section is used by a general roadway, the Yurikamome Line, and a walking path.
