Kazurabashi Bridge (Fukui Prefecture)

Tokiwado Kaminari-okoshi Honpo Kaminarimon Main Store sits tall on two centuries of renown as an “okoshi” confectionery shop from its spot just steps from Asakusa's iconic Kaminarimon Gate. Okoshi is a traditional Japanese sweet made by binding roasted rice, millet, or other grains with a sweet syrup (such as sugar or malt syrup). It is well-loved for its crispy texture, pleasant aroma, and subtle sweetness. Kaminari-okoshi, the shop’s signature product, combines puffed rice with ingredients like peanuts.

“Fun on the Raft” in Naruto

The Uchinoumi seawaters are located in the northeast area of Naruto in Tokushima Prefecture. Hugged between Shimada and Oge Islands, the calm waters were once a popular locale for pearl farmers. Today, these rafting rigs can be used as a special place to enjoy fishing and BBQing above the sea.

Miho Shrine

First recorded in the Izumo no Kuni Fudoki compiled in 733, Miho Shrine is a venerable site of worship. It enshrines two deities: Mihotsuhime-no-Mikoto, the goddess of bountiful harvests and safe childbirth, and Kotoshironushi-no-Kami-widely revered as “Ebisu,” the deity of safe voyages and prosperous business. As the head shrine of all Ebisu shrines in Japan, Miho Shrine has long been a center of faith.

Tokyo Tower

Tokyo Tower was born in 1958. When it was built, Tokyo Tower proudly stood out as the tallest steel tower in the world. At a height of 33 meters, it was taller than the Eiffel Tower in Paris. At this memorial hall the rich history and life works of Sakamoto Ryoma towards the end of the Bakumatsu era can be experience through all the thrills of sound and animation.

Tsukui Lake

Tsukui Lake is a man-made lake made by a dam in the northwestern part of Kanagawa Prefecture. The lake was completed along with Shiroyama Dam in 1965, after the building of Sagami Dam as a part of a project to secure a stable water source for the growing community.
