Chuo Park Avenue
This shopping mall was originally created as an entertainment district for the U.S. Army. This district at first used to be a place for an exchange between American and the local people in 1950 and was called “the Business Center Street” with meaning a center for commerce.
This place is lively and bustling, with bright lights everywhere. Along the 500-meter street, you'll find imported goods shops, art galleries, decor stores, and restaurants serving international cuisine.
YOKOHAMA HAMMERHEAD
Japan's first complex facility combining "commercial facilities," "a cruise ship terminal," and "a hotel" opened at the Shinko Pier in the Minato Mirai district in 2019. The facility's name comes from the "Hammerhead crane" that remains as a symbol at the tip of the pier. This historical industrial relic was used for loading and unloading cargo until the 1970s.
There are 25 restaurants here and the famous InterContinental Hotel. It's a great spot to stay for a couple of days and really enjoy yourself.
BankART KAIKO
BankART KAIKO sits on the expansive Kitanaka lot, the home of the former storehouse used for domestic raw silk that was slotted for export from Japan via the port of Yokohama. The collective group of warehouses, known as Teisan Warehouse, was built in 1926 after the Great Kanto Earthquake by architect Endo Oto, and stands today as one of the greatest works of his later years.
You can enjoy art while listening to music here. It really feels like stepping into a painting! 👍
Kanazawa Noh Museum
In Kanazawa, due to the fondness of the Kaga Clan's Maeda family for Noh, and their efforts to spread chanting among the commoners, it was once said that "chants rain down from the sky." To continue and pass down this tradition of performing arts and artifacts, a museum was established in Hirosaka, related to the Kanazawa Noh Theater.
At the Kanazawa Noh Museum, you can see a recreated Noh stage and learn about different aspects of Noh theater.
Sendai Astronomical Observatory
The" Sendai Astronomical Observatory" concept is "bringing the universe closer to you." This comprehensive astronomy museum has a planetarium that projects beautiful and powerful images of the starry sky, an exhibition room where visitors can enjoy learning about the universe using models and video images, and the Hitomi-Telescope, one of the largest telescopes in Japan, with an aperture of 1.3 meters.
This place has the largest astronomical telescope in the Tohoku region, called 'Hitomi.' Highly recommended! ❤️
Benkei Fishing Club
Located on the eastern side of the Akasaka Imperial Grounds, this leisure facility for boating and fishing is nestled in a corner of the Edo Castle outer moat, surrounded by expressways and tall buildings. Despite being in close proximity to Akasaka-Mitsuke and Nagatacho, it's a nature-rich oasis by the water, cherished by many enthusiasts.
This is a rare sightseeing spot in Tokyo where you can enjoy fishing and the natural environment.
Enkouji Temple
Opened in 1601, built by the orders of Tokugawa Ieyasu in Fushimi, Kyoto. After it opened as a school, it relocated to the premises of Shokokuji Temple. In 1667, it relocated again to its current location at Ichichoji Kotani town. Statues said to be created by the monk Unkei are on display, including the Senju-Kannon statue, and the statue of Kaizan Genkitsu Zen Master, an important cultural heritage.
This temple is famous for the Ten Oxen Garden, the Suikinkutsu, and the Running Dragon Garden. You definitely have to check out these sights when you visit—highly recommended!
Naha City Tourist Information

Kaiunbashi Bridge (Good Fortune Bridge)
Kaiunbashi Bridge (Good Fortune Bridge) is located near JR Morioka Station. This bridge spans the Kitakami-gawa River that flows through Morioka City and connects Morioka Station and the city center.
This is an important bridge connecting the station and the city center. You can enjoy beautiful views of Mt. Iwate and the Kitakami River from here.
Sezon Museum of Modern Art
The concept of this museum is "to breathe with art in the forests of Karuizawa" and "to live in harmony with nature." After opening in 1962 in Takanawa, Tokyo as the Takanawa Museum of Art, the museum moved to Karuizawa in 1981 and changed its name to the current "Sezon Museum of Modern Art" in 1991 to celebrate its 10th anniversary.
The environment here is really beautiful. The modern architecture is understated and surrounded by forest. There are some truly impressive works inside, too.
